The service
MakeItLast is an automated directory of software tools, free to browse and free to submit to, provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. An optional paid listing upgrade exists. Listings are informational: we don't endorse, sell, or support the listed software.
Accounts
Sign-in is via Google or email. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service.
Content
If you submit content, you confirm you have the right to share it, including any logo or screenshot you upload, and you grant us a license to display it on MakeItLast. We can remove any listing at any time. Submissions are reviewed automatically before they are published.
Links and the badge
Some listings carry a followable link in exchange for showing our badge. We check the badge is still there; if it goes missing the link becomes nofollow. Your listing stays live either way. A followable link is provided as-is. We make no promise about any SEO outcome.
Paid listings
The $9 one-time upgrade buys a permanent dofollow link with no badge required - nothing else. Payments are handled by our payment provider as merchant of record. Refunds are at our discretion.
Homepage ads
A $49 homepage slot is paid placement for 30 days. It is not a catalog listing, a ranking, or an endorsement. The outbound link is marked sponsored. We can remove an ad that is spam, illegal, or misleading. Unused time is not refunded if we remove it for cause.
We email you about your account and listings. Listing emails include an unsubscribe button. Unsubscribing does not stop sign-in links you request. A spam complaint suppresses the inbox.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for damages arising from use of the site or from third-party software found through it. External links are followed at your own risk.
