## About

Yap Voice Typing lets you type with your voice in any text box on the web. Click into a text field, press Alt+Shift+Y and talk, and your words are typed where the cursor is: in email, search, chat, notes and documents.

OpenAI's Whisper speech model runs inside your browser, so your voice is never uploaded. There is no server, no account and no analytics. It recognizes English and 99 other languages, adds capitals and punctuation, removes filler words, and works offline after a one-time model download of about 80 MB. It is free, from Yap (O-mega Enterprise Inc.).
