DraftKey is a writing assistant for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. It provides local spelling and grammar help as you pause, optional completion, and selected-text rewriting through Command-Option. Review a rewrite, shortening or tone change before inserting it. Support varies by editor, and secure fields are excluded.

The AI features require 8 GB of memory, a roughly 1.12 GB model download and about 2.2 GB of disk space plus the app. DraftKey costs $4.99 once for up to three Macs. A separate free browser typing room offers WPM and accuracy feedback with six sound options; it is not the Mac AI assistant.
